My journey

This project is inspired by my hometown, Fukuoka, and my current city, Los Angeles. I’ve created characters and isometric designs featuring iconic landmarks and local elements from both cities. As the foundation for the design, I’ve used the maps of each city and the three-letter airport codes for Fukuoka (FUK) and Los Angeles (LAX).
The three-letter codes evoke the idea of airports and aviation, and were chosen as symbols related to both cities. Through the cute and expressive characters, I hope you can feel the warm and playful atmosphere of each city.

A motion graphic project based on an isometric design created in Illustrator, tracing a journey from Fukuoka, Japan to Los Angeles, USA.
It depicts the transition from life in Japan to studying design and taking on new creative challenges abroad.
Characters in the piece symbolize personal passions, curiosities, inspirations, and the interests and influences of family and friends that continue to shape this creative path.
